Off the northern coast of Maine, a Philadelphia architect created a modern interpretation of the historical shingle-style house among a forest of fir trees. An interior theater with balconies overlooks the spacious living room. The owner, a wonderfully imaginative artist, created seascapes of organic pieces with resin resembling tidal pools.
